How Mike Myers Introduced Beyoncé to Led Zeppelin

Mike Myers and a young Beyonce starred together in his 2002 Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Mike had nothing but love and adoration for Beyonce.

He said on set Beyonce was always listening to music. One day she asked Mike what he was listening to and he said, Led Zeppelin.

Beyonce, who was about 20 years old in 2002, had never heard of Led Zeppelin but replied, I think I’ll listen to that Led Zeppelin.

The next day Mike sees Beyonce listening to music and asks her what she is listening to and she replied, Led Zeppelin! They’re great!!.

Fast forward quite a few years and you will find Beyonce sampled Led Zeppelin on her 2016 album, Lemonade. She used their song, When The Levee Breaks.
