Foo Fighters continue to drop EPs of archival material, with the latest, 01999925, just hitting the streaming services.

The 5-tracks were recorded around the time of their third album, There Is Nothing Left To Lose, and originally came out on the “Learn To Fly” single 20 years ago.

Featured are live versions of “Ain’t It The Life” and “Floaty,” taped for an in-studio session aired on Dutch radio and TV, plus covers from The Obsessed and Pink Floyd.

Currently, the Foos have two US dates on the calendar, playing the Intersect Festival and Boston Calling, plus three shows in Europe.

How different is their older material from how the band sounds today?
