Next month, the stars will come out to pay tribute to Aerosmith, who has been named the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Following in the footsteps of Fleetwood Mac in 2018, the Boston rockers are only the second band in the Recording Academy charity’s history to receive the honor.

MusiCares announced the selection of Aerosmith due to their “considerable philanthropic efforts over five decades and undeniable impact on American music history.”

Taking the stage at the Los Angeles’ Convention Center on January 24th to perform songs by Aerosmith will be Foo Fighters, Alice Cooper, and John Legend, as well as John Mayer, the Jonas Brothers, H.E.R. and Gary Clark Jr.

Which other bands should next receive the honor?
