Fleetwood Mac Confirm Cocaine Legend

Of the many tall tales told about Fleetwood Mac, the one about the band snorting an insane amount of cocaine has persisted. Turns out, it’s true.

Speaking backstage at the legendary rockers’ Wembley Stadium show in London, Mick Fleetwood confirmed the story.

“I guess we figured we did X amount a day, and then some goofball got out a calculator and came up with that seven miles figure and said, ‘Isn’t that funny?’ And it sort of is,” says the founding drummer.

While Fleetwood reveals, “There was never a conscious decision on my part to stop that lifestyle. I think it naturally just drifted away,” he now admits he prefers to indulge only in red wine.
