Five Springsteen Albums Being Re-Released on Vinyl

What’s old is new again. At least that’s the case with five Bruce Springsteen albums that have been tapped to be re-released on vinyl.

The albums, most of which were originally released on CD, include 1999’s “18 Tracks,” 2001’s “Live in New York City,” 2002’s “The Rising,” 2005’s

“Devils & Dust” and 2007’s “Live in Dublin.” The vinyl versions of the live albums will be issued as three-record sets, while the other three will each include two vinyl discs.

The reissues are due to drop on February 21st.

What advantages does vinyl have over digital? Do you usually buy beefed-up re-releases even if you have the originals?
