‘Exploding Kittens’ Being Turned Into Mobile Game, Netflix Series

The popular card game “Exploding Kittens” is being turned into a mobile game and a Netflix series.

Exploding Kittens — The Game is expected to drop sometime in May, ahead of the TV version’s debut, according to Netflix. It will retain “the same classic gameplay where players draw cards aiming to avoid the Exploding Kitten,” reads a statement released by the streaming service.

The series, which is being produced by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, will follow the adventures of God and the Devil, who visit Earth in the bodies of house cats, according to Netflix. It’s expected to premiere in 2023.
