Elon Musk Says He Would Reverse Trump’s Twitter Ban

It’s been one of the biggest questions surrounding Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter – will he un-ban former President Donald Trump?

The answer, it turns out, is yes.  On Tuesday, Musk told Financial Times that Trump’s ban was “a mistake because it alienated a large part of the country”.

He said that permanent bans should be “extremely rare” and used for bots or spam accounts.

Trump was banned from Twitter last year after the Jan. 6th Capitol riot.  Last month, he indicated that he would not be interested in returning to Twitter, even if he were unbanned.
