Ellen Degeneres Defends Friendship with George W. Bush After Internet Backlash

This has been one of the most talked about things on the internet this week, Ellen Degeneres went to a Dallas Cowboys game with her wife Portia and was seen sitting next to and laughing with George W. Bush.

Well the internet had a whole lot to say, of course, as to why these two seemingly unlikely friends were enjoying one another’s company. Ellen never shies away from speaking her mind, and let everyone know what was going on. Very simply put, they’re friends even though they don’t share the same point of view.
