Dee Snider Says Metal Music Listeners Are Happier Than Others

Dee Snider from Twisted Sister has never been shy about sharing his opinion and metal fans’ happiness seems to be the latest subject.

Snider responded to a fan on Twitter after they asked why metal music has a bad “stigma” around it.

People are threatened by it’s intensity…but that’s what makes it so cathartic for the listener. Releasing negative energy and emotion through metal music helps to make us happier people. It’s a shame fans of other “normal” music don’t have that release. https://t.co/hJc7Z4jUY1
