Coronavirus Leads to National Dr Pepper Shortage

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, the U.S. has experienced shortages of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, bleach and even puzzles. Now, Dr. Pepper has been added to the list.
Confirming the shortage, a rep for the soft drink company says safety measures have resulted in a reduction of output. “We appreciate your patience and encourage you to contact your local retailer directly for the most up-to-date availability of Dr. Pepper products,” a statement released Wednesday by the company reads.
Charmin officials have reacted to the shortage, tweeting, “Welcome to the club. We feel your pain.”
