Billy Joel Shares Early Version Of ‘New York State Of Mind’ From Upcoming Live Album

Billy Joel has shared an early version of “New York State of Mind” from his upcoming live album Live at the Great American Music Hall, 1975.
The track predates the album version of the song, which appears on his 1976 album Turnstiles.
Live at the Great American Music Hall captures a 1975 show in San Francisco. It will be released as part of the new box set The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 1, due out Nov. 5th.
