Bikers And Community Rally Around Kids’ Lemonade Stand After Robbery
This starts off with a bad human and ends up with good humans coming to the rescue!
A lemonade stand in Virginia that is run by 10-year-old Rebecca Caldwell and her 8-year-old brother Joshua, was robbed by a random adult. The thief got away with $40 worth of cash. Surveillance video shows a man pulling up in a car, talking to the kids, and then grabbing their jar of money.
They were featured on the news with the surveillance video showing what happened and invited the community back out for more lemonade that weekend. And boy, did people show up! They made back their $40 and a whole bunch more!
Around 600 people in the community including firefighters, police, EMS, and even members of a couple motorcycle groups rolled up to the Caldwell home to buy a cup of lemonade. They ended up with $6,200!!
