Artificial Intelligence Helped Restore Beatles Music For ‘Get Back’

How did Peter Jackson get all those great Beatles performances in Get Back?  With some impressive new technology.

The Lord of the Rings director says they “made some huge breakthroughs” while restoring the original audio – using a special computer program to isolate different parts and remix them.

He told Variety “We developed a machine learning system that we taught what a guitar sounds like, what a bass sounds like, what a voice sounds like. In fact we taught the computer what John sounds like and what Paul sounds like.”
