A new study has found that 7 in 10 American respondents would be willing to wear a fitness tracker for cheaper health insurance.
69% of participants said that they would happily wear a fitness tracker if they had discounted rates on health insurance, while 46% said that they would even share their data from those smartwatches with insurers.
The study also found that 45% of Americans already wear smartwatches, mainly showing popularity among women.
It was also revealed that those who wear smartwatches tend to do more exercise than those who don’t.
Do you wear a smartwatch? Would you wear one just for discounted health insurance? Do you think smartwatches keep people accountable?
