Aerosmith Might Release Archival Material Instead Of A New Record

Joe Perry says Aerosmith plans to open up the vaults and start releasing some archival material.

The guitarist told Ultimate Classic Rock the band has a ton of unreleased music dating all the way back to the 1970’s.

He says the band may focus on releasing archives “over the next two or three years”, rather than trying to write and record a new album.

Aerosmith had to cancel a batch of tour dates earlier this year after frontman Steven Tyler checked into rehab.
