Adele May Move Vegas Residency To Planet Hollywood
Since postponing her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas, there hasn’t been much word on when that will actually happen, but a new update from TMZ says it may be sooner rather than later.
They talked to “sources with direct knowledge of the singer’s plans” who told them that Adele and her team are in serious discussions to move the show from The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
A few reason for that is that Adele would have full creative control over the show, and take home a larger cut of ticket sales — which will certainly put more in her pocket as Zappos holds 7,000 people compared to The Colosseum’s 4,100.
They haven’t named a new launch date, but the goal is to reportedly kick things off late in the summer for a string of shows that will continue through the end of 2022.
A documentary crew has reportedly been following Adele during this entire process, though no word on when or where to expect to see that.
