Cameron Crowe’s rock epic “Almost Famous” will be heading to Broadway soon!

Crowe has been working on the lyrics and music for the musical version of the 2000 film, which was based on the filmmaker’s life as a music journalist.

While the production is said to be heading to Broadway this year, it made its debut at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre in 2019.

If you haven’t seen “Almost Famous,” it follows the life of a 15-year-old journalist on tour with a fictional band and has a killer soundtrack that features Elton John, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, the Beach Boys, and more.

What other movies do you think should be made into Broadway shows? Have you seen “Almost Famous?” What is your favorite moment from the film?
