98-Year-Old WWII Vet Flies One More Time

“He let me fly it. That was my thrill. I had the controls.”
That was a thrilled 98-year-old World War II veteran named John Wolfe who just got a bucket list wish granted thank to an AARP program called Wish of a Lifetime.
He’s from Jackson Township, Pennsylvania’s, and not only served in the military but flew as a commercial pilot. Wolfe sat in the copilot’s seat during an hour-long flight from York Airport, and the pilot even let him handle the controls. He was met with a party and cake afterwards!
